Danny needed an excuse to use some of his German armor. Since he had gotten into Bolt Action, he had bought an array of tanks, including U.S. Armor. In fact, I still have quite a few of his plastic tanks to build for him. It just seems a little hard to motivate when I have other projects. There does not seem to be a rush on this. Anyway, up to this point, only six of his tanks have since wargaming combat. One Panther I borrowed for last year's Historicon for a convention game. So Danny had set up a happy little table for a full onslaught of clashing steel! We brought over a large portion of my wife's British armor. Though, the Germans did win out in this game, the quote of the game has to be: "The Ferdinand Tank Destroyer should be awesome, because it eats up a lot of points!" That thing could not do anything until the last round! Either way, here was the game shot at Danny's house!
Wargaming and Such: This is mainly a blog for all other wargamers and similar hobbies to enjoy. My wife, Kalissa and I have been wargaming together, since my first wargame. We both started out playing Flames of War and have since broaden our interests in near all gaming. Though, we mainly play WW2 games, there are a whole range of interest we have. Hopefully, this blog and you all will get to see it all or close to it! Enjoy!

AAR: Bolt Action Tank Wars! Danny's Host Game!

ReplyDeleteAnother aspect that people will nag a game developer or creator about is representation. Should I say, a lack of representation which is not limited to race, body type and message in the game. If you are able to customize your character, then of course you will not have a problem with representation. There is a problem in some games where they don't represent strong and smart females, minority females and males, big, small, tall, and short females and males. Notice how I didn't put "males" after female for strong? That's because males in games are ALWAYS represented as strong and smart. free games download
